Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Junior Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in hosting, compute, and storage solutions. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and an understanding of IT infrastructure and cloud computing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage multiple projects related to hosting, compute, and storage from initiation through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Resource Allocation: Coordinate with various teams to allocate resources effectively and efficiently, ensuring optimal utilization.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure project requirements are met and service levels are maintained. Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with virtualization technologies and infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS).
- Knowledge of data storage solutions, including SAN, NAS, and cloud storage.
- Proficient in excel and coding skills
- Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
