Main Duties and Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly committed individual to join us as our Procurement and Receiving Officer for the Resort. The incumbent will be responsible for implementing our Resort’s procedures to ensure that goods and services ordered are received in good order, meeting the prescribed quality and quantity per the Resort’s requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving and Inspection:
- To receive and inspect all incoming inventories, including supplies, equipment, and merchandise, ensuring they meet the Resort’s quality and quantity requirements.
- Ensure all inventories are not damaged and received in accordance with the Purchase Order.
Documentation:
- Prepare and maintain detailed records of all received items, including packing slips, invoices, and delivery notes. Ensure that all documentation is filed correctly.
- Report discrepancies if there’s any.
Storage and Organization:
- Ensure proper storage of received inventories in designated areas.
- Maintain an organized storage room to facilitate easy retrieval and prevent loss or damage.
Communication:
- Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to address any issues related to shipments, discrepancies, or quality concerns. Ensure timely and effective resolution of any problems.
Job Requirements
- Higher NITEC, NITEC or an equivalent professional qualification
- 1 – 3 years of experience in receiving or inventory management, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and pay great attention to details.
