Treasury Analyst (12 months)

Job Summary (12 months contract)


Treasury and Investments Dept is dedicated to manage SCOR’s holdings, liquidity and mitigate operational, and financial risk.


The Treasury Analyst will be reporting to the Head of APAC Treasury and Investments. You will involve with a broad spectrum of Treasury and Investments functions for Asia Pacific region entities in various segments, i.e., Property & Casualty, Life & Health as well as Services provider.


Some key aspects of the position

  • Cash and liquidity management, funding, cash flow forecast, investment coordination, bank account management and reporting.
  • Develop unique solutions to our business processes by integrating, enhancing the team’s existing software and databases in the Asia Pacific region.

All tasks will have to be performed in compliance with SCOR Group Treasury Policy and SCOR Group Investment Guidelines.


Key Duties and Responsibilities


Treasury and Investments Functions

• Perform daily cash and liquidity management for Asia Pacific region entities. Determine daily cash position to meet the respective entities daily operating requirements while maximising the use of funds.

• Able to setup and maintain SAP TRM (Treasury & Risk Management) module and the connectivity with respective banking counterparties for treasury operations.

• Ensure timely and accurate fund transfer and settlement of financial products, e.g., fixed deposit, FX Spot/Forward/NDF, internal/external loan etc.

• Manage funding, and counterparty exposures to ensure compliance with SCOR policies and guidelines.

• Perform analyse, and prepare reports for internal and external parties, including finance, management, regulators, and auditors.

• Bank account administration, i.e., open/close bank account, manage banking facilities, update banking signatories etc.

• Support integration and implementation of digitalise banking tools with SCOR System and ensure smooth functionality in daily operation.

• Support/initiate projects implementation, including business process enhancement/automation while working closely with relevant parties providing insights and timely feedback.

• Any other duties and responsibilities being assigned from time to time.


Business Process Transformation Projects


• Work closely with Product Owner, Solution Owner, IT Consultant and Developer on life cycle of business process automation projects.

• Familiar with software such as Microsoft tools (E.g., SharePoint, Access, Power Automate, Power Apps, Excel VBA), SAP, etc.

• Ensure continuity and intuitiveness of solution (documentation) and presenting it to the team.


Required experience & competencies

• Preferably 2 years working experience in financial industry, ideally in corporate treasury / cash management with exposure to Asia Pacific region.

• Hands-on, meticulous, positive, and energetic with initiative.

• Self-driven, committed team player. Ability to operate with minimum supervision.

• Well organised, strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.

• Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks effectively based on the risk/time criticality of the tasks.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Knowledge in programming, automation, data visualisation is a plus (E.g., VBA Programming, Power BI, Microsoft Power Automate, SQL).


Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree in banking & finance, economics, business or accountancy

Duration

  • Please note that this is a 12 months contract with a potential to be extended or converted to a permanent position
