Argyll Scott is recruiting for our client in financial services in their revenue finance operations.It's a 12 months contract with one month completion bonus.
OVERVIEW
The manager will provide crucial support in responding to any fee-related queries and fee impact analysis when required. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting and supporting the finance revenue operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accurate calculation of trade-related revenue and cost of sales according to the investment management agreements and record the transactions using Oracle, ensuring all journal entries are posted correctly and timely.
- Timely revenue billing and collection of intercompany and 3rd party receivables.
- Timely recording and submission of approved trade payable invoices (i.e. trailer commission and sub-delegation invoices) for payment.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in revenue accounting and work with the finance teams to implement these enhancements.
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in revenue accounting within the fund management or financial institution industry.
- Proficiency in Oracle or similar ERP systems for journal entry and financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles, particularly related to management and performance fees.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess the financial impact of complex fee structures.
