Job Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Engineers & Managers on their purchase requirements.
- Sourcing for quotes, price, and availability of goods and services
- To place orders with existing local/overseas suppliers.
- Evaluate suppliers based on quality standards, delivery, prices, etc
- Sourcing for new suppliers with more competitive prices.
- Processing of purchase orders and related documents.
- Planning and monitoring closely with suppliers on delivery schedule.
- Preparing costing for tenders, follow-up on tender bids and documentation.
- To arrange for evaluation of sample for testing purposes, if required.
- To provide feedback to suppliers on product defects/customer complaints and claim warranty, if applicable.
- Provide administrative support as assigned.
- Any ad hoc duties if required.
Requirement(s):
- Minimum of Diploma with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Proactive, positive, and responsible individual.
- Able to work under tight deadlines with a strong sense of urgency.
