Responsibilities
- Research potential vendors.
- Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.
- Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Review quality of purchased products.
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
Requirements and skills
- 3-5 years in Construction industry as purchaser.
- Knowledge of construction material and source of suppliers.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or any related fields.
- Proficient in computer applications (MS Office Applications).
