Purpose
This role is designed as a designate role to provide leadership pipeline bench strength overall for PepsiCo Concentrate. The role is a flow through role within Supply Chain that will lean into key short term strategic agendas, business priorities and support short/ long term agenda initiatives of the function over a 6- 12 month timeframe. After strong completion of this assignment this role will pathway within the function or across the broader PepsiCo Concentrate business.
The successful candidate needs to be agile, with a demonstratable drive for results, a high level of executive communication skills, strategic thinking and a clear ability to influence and execute strategic through multiple stakeholders. A drive to broaden experience with adaptability and learning agility is a must for this position.
Primary Accountabilities include:
- Design and deliver appropriate key performance metrics in areas of speed, delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Customer relationship management, order fulfilment, demand and supply planning of raw material, packaging material and distribution for finished goods.
- Responsible for driving operational and supply chain excellence, ensure strategic supply chain initiatives related to concentrate supply and distribution.
- Building strategic sector connectivity with the BU’s and customers for the region driving higher forecast accuracy, responsiveness.
- Developing plans and strategies to address key SC challenges across freight/ logistics, materials, forecast management and commercialisation.
- Leading programs focused on driving and accelerating the SC digital capability, ensuring budget timelines and workstreams successfully delivered within set milestones.
- Defining and lead key program hub program’s of work such as global end to end Simplification, SC Control Tower and Process Optimisation.
- E2E review of Supply org design and potential optimization of digital capability Performance pack development and sector connects.
- Leading strategic initiatives & systems including system requirements, suppliers and roll out plans.
- Developing change management plan and enabling capabilities to deliver on global vision
- Developing material strategies, revised global supply chains, enhanced systems planning capabilities and change management plans.
Qualifications / Requirements
- University Degree in related discipline (Supply Chain/Engineering/Operations)
- 10 years’ experience in FMCG, technical, manufacturing, supply chain
- Possess a broad and thorough understanding of concentrate operations and the concentrate model
- Possess a broad and thorough understanding of how new products are designed and developed
- Proven leadership skills and demonstrated strategic thinking and a global perspective
- Depth of people management experience – must have effectively led/coached managers to build a high performing team
- Mastery in leading a team in a mainly virtual environment
- Ability to work to tight timelines and handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to influence and gain commitment at all levels of the organisation’s
- Analytically strong with ability to connect multiple insights sources and transform insights into strategies
- Strong relationship builder across functions and geographies
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Process Improvement – ability to drive improvements using proven tools & Processes such as LSS with a positive approach and mindset, seeking opportunity and solutions rather than identifying obstacles and hurdles
