- Supervising All Nursing Staff:Lead and guide a dedicated team of nurses, ensuring quality care delivery.
Foster a positive work environment that promotes collaboration and growth.
- Budget Oversight: Manage department budgets efficiently, optimizing resources while maintaining high standards of care.
- Reporting and Communication:Report directly to higher management, providing updates on patient care, staffing, and facility operations.
Communicate effectively with doctors, patients, and family members to address health concerns.
- Confidential Records Management:Maintain patient data and medical records with utmost confidentiality and accuracy.
- Recruitment and Training:Recruit, onboard, and train new nursing staff members.
Provide ongoing education classes to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Policy Implementation:Implement new procedures and ensure compliance with nursing policies
Job Requirements:
- Min. Degree in nursing with Advanced Diploma/ Masters in gerontology
- Knowledge and compliance with HCSA
- Able to take the role of license holder for the nursing home
- Comply with requirements for Clinical Governance Officer
- Proven management record for a medium to large nursing home or community care facility
