Restaurant Manager – Greek Themed Restaurant
Job responsibilities:
Plan and direct all restaurant operations. Maintain high standards of food, service, health and safety, ensure the efficient and profitable business performance of the restaurant and the optimal utilization of staff and resources.
Job duties:
- Set operating goals and objectives.
- Assess staffing requirement and recruit staff when needed
- Manage staff performance in accordance with established standards and procedures
- Monitor adherence to health, safety and hygiene standards in kitchen and restaurant
- Ensure compliance with restaurant security procedures
- Ensure alcohol regulations are adhered to
- Interact and advise customers on food and beverage choices
- Interact with customers to ensure all inquiries and complaints are handled promptly
- Identify and estimate food and beverage supply requirements and place order with local and/or overseas suppliers (Ie : Fresh produce, wines & etc)
- Any other ad-hoc Task as determined by the director
Requirements:
- Candidates must possess at least diploma level or its equivalent
- At least 5 years’ experience in F&B Operational experience and at least 3 years managerial experience
- Familiar with Greek Food and culture
- Requires nights and weekend availability
- Proven ability to multi-task and supervise, independent, ability to work under pressure and deliver in a fast-paced working environment.
- Must be competent with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Able to communication with Greek language (ie : to liaise with Greek suppliers) would be advantage
