THE BACARDI STORY

ROLE: TRADE AMBASSADOR

FUNCTION: ADVOCACY

LOCATION: SINGAPORE


Advocacy seeks to drive brand and drink recommendations by building relationships with influential bar staff


YOUR OPPORTUNITY

You will become the face and voice for our brands to the community, crafting and delivering the brand programming agreed in our sales, marketing and advocacy strategy. You will embody and represent the brand’s image and values externally and internally with the opportunity to leave your legacy as our Spirits expert.

Your deep knowledge about the Category, the Brands and their heritage along with your ability to inspire and excite consumers, partners and Primos about our products is the key to success in this role.


ABOUT YOU

For this role you must be self-confident, with personal drive and a strong work ethic to proactively seek opportunities for BACARDÍ. You must be a coach of Spirits, have top mixology skills, have good reputation in the industry and be social-media savvy.


RESPONSIBILITIES

WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART, YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE TO:

· Develop loyalty with the trade, so they list and push Bacardi brands.

· Drive bar training in relevant outlets to promote Bacardi brands and educate the on premise on creating the perfect serve.

· Identify and ‘mentor’ bartenders to become ‘brand champions’ for Bacardi brands, so that they promote the brand to both consumers and to other bartenders.

· Lead advocacy programs i.e Barrels & Bees, Whisky Dinners and Highball Challenge

· Push additional listing of our brands and cocktails in key on trade account

· Able to conceptualize, execute and evaluate consumer promotions

· Manage HORECA and Cocktail Bars– You will be the key account manager for this segment


SKILLS

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY:

· Must be able to communicate very well (English)

· Have good knowledge about the total Spirits category

· Relevant F&B experience

· Confident Presenter

· Socially engaging

· Wide network of strong industry relationships

· Strong organizational and time management skills

· Comfortable with basic Excel/PowerPoint


PERSONAL QUALITIES

· Great communication skills and able to send across messages across very clearly and consistently

· Loves to deal with different kind of people. Able to create lasting relationships

· Insightful. Easy to see consumer or trade trends

· Willing to travel domestically as well as in the region

· Founder’s mentality- ability to plan and organize your time
