Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:Lead and mentor a team of GIS Engineers, providing technical guidance and ensuring the successful delivery of GIS projects.
- Data Synchronization:Develop and manage data synchronization batch jobs to transfer spatial data from ArcGIS Enterprise (Client-Server) environments to Government Cloud environments.
- Security and Compliance:Coordinate Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) to ensure system security.
Perform OS, IIS, and Database (DB) hardening in line with GovTech’s hardening checklist and IM8 policies to meet government standards.
- System Setup & Configuration:Install, configure, and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise 11.1 and ArcGIS Pro 3.2.1 for seamless GIS operations.
Publish and manage maps, geoprocessing tools, and other spatial data products within the GIS infrastructure.
- API Management:Configure APIs to facilitate integration and data consumption by various clients, ensuring optimal performance and compatibility.
- Documentation & Transition Support:Lead the creation and completion of technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, release checklists, and transition checklists.
Provide training to the Operations Division to support the successful transition of GIS projects during implementation and post-deployment.
Required Skills & Tools:
- GIS Tools:Extensive experience with ArcGIS Enterprise 11.1 and ArcGIS Pro 3.2.1.
- Cloud and API Management:Hands-on experience with GCC (Government Cloud Computing) 1.0 to GCC 2.0.
API management expertise, with a focus on seamless client consumption.
- Security:Knowledge of OS, IIS, and DB hardening, as well as GovTech’s security policies and IM8 standards.
- Database & Server Technologies:Proficient in SQL Server, Azure, and data migration/synchronization techniques.
Experience with tools like WinSCP for secure file transfer and system configuration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in GIS development, with proven leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of government regulations, especially in cloud-based environments.
- Excellent communication skills for documentation, client interaction, and team training.
