We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Restaurant Executive to join our team. The Restaurant Executive will support kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, preparing ingredients, and ensuring the smooth running of food preparation. This role is vital to ensure that the kitchen runs efficiently and meets high food safety and hygiene standards.
- Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of ingredients by washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning food items.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning workstations, and ensuring equipment is sanitized.
- Cooking: Support chefs in basic cooking tasks, such as preparing salads, sauces, and garnishes.
- Inventory Management: Help in receiving, checking, and storing deliveries, ensuring that all stock is properly organized and rotated.
- Compliance: Follow all health and safety guidelines, including food hygiene standards (e.g., washing hands, wearing protective gear, and handling food safely).
- Team Support: Provide assistance to the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely meal preparation and service.
Job Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience as a kitchen assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and handle the physical demands of kitchen work.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure all tasks are completed with precision and attention to hygiene and cleanliness.
