Requirements/Skillsets
• At least 3 years experience in DCS project engineering and/or service background.
• Experience in Data Center Automation projects in BMS/EPMS/CMS projects will be an added advantage (using ABB solutions or competitor solutions).
• Experience in troubleshooting site issues in ABB’s 800xA system will be a big plus.
• Recognized degree or diploma in engineering with experience in automation systems.
• Computer literacy and competency Microsoft office tools.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities
• 24x7 Service delivery (with 2 hrs SLA) for Datacenter customer installed base in Singapore Provides technical support and solves problems in own expertise area via remote or on-site service in any Service category (installation and commissioning; maintenance; repairs; engineering and consulting; advanced services; extensions, upgrades and retrofits; end of life services, replacements, etc.).
• Site Commissioning support Collaborates with the project installation, commissioning and site activities clarifying potential issues or providing solutions to correct engineering errors. Takes part hands-on during the commissioning and startup activities.
• Technical leadership and knowledge sharing, Processes and tools Acts as overall technical Service lead for the engineering disciplines included in the AMC projects. Actively collaborates and does knowledge transfer from the Project Engineering team and other service team colleagues, supporting with technical advice and guidance. Cultivates a network of engineering professionals both within and outside own business unit and shares best practice across different projects and disciplines. Creates standard processes and tools.
• Customer Approach Manages customer relationships and maintains regular contacts with key customers. Identifies new sales opportunities, proactively communicating both with the customer and ABB sales teams to ensure customer needs are understood and business opportunities utilized for Service growth. Conducts specialist support and advisory service for Sales team.
• Documentation and reports Prepares all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative. Reports work done in a timely manner and follows up when needed.
