Business Analyst (Finance)

As a finance Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of software projects, particularly focusing on finance modules. Your responsibilities will span from gathering and analyzing new business requirements to providing post-go-live support. You will work closely with technical teams, conduct testing, manage data migration, and contribute to training and support efforts.


Job Description

  • Project Implementation Support: Assist in the end-to-end implementation of software projects, including capturing and analyzing new business requirements, managing data migration, handling project administration, and providing post-go-live support.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Support the internal functional testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) processes. Communicate findings and solutions effectively with customers to ensure their requirements are met and issues are resolved.
  • Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with technical teams to contribute to system design and solution development, ensuring alignment with project goals and customer needs.
  • Data Management: Assist in reviewing, cleansing, and preparing customer data for migration. Perform post-migration verification to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Training and Documentation: Develop comprehensive training materials related to finance modules. Conduct training sessions for users to ensure they are proficient in utilizing the new system.
  • Issue Analysis and Resolution: Analyze functional, data, or report issues related to finance and billing software. Identify the root cause of issues and propose effective solutions or remedies.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • At least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in IT, Accounting, Finance or equivalent
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and customers.
  • Experience in developing training materials and conducting training sessions.
  • Familiarity with data migration processes and tools, and strong in MS-Excel is preferred.
  • Experience with finance and billing software or similar systems is preferred.
  • At least 1year of working experience in IT/Computer, Software project implementation or support role is preferred.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying project needs and timelines.
