Responsibilities:
- Customer Assistance: Greeting customers, listening to their vehicle concerns, and understanding their service requirements. Provide excellent customer service throughout the entire service process.
- Service Recommendations: Coordinate with workshop technicians on the inspection of vehicles, discuss findings with customers, and recommending necessary repairs or maintenance based on vehicle's condition.
- Cost Estimates: Preparing quotations for repairs, including parts, labour, and any additional services required.
- Appointment Scheduling: Coordinating and scheduling service appointments to ensure an organized workflow and maximising efficiency at workshop.
- Communication: Keeping customers informed about the status of their vehicles, updating them on any delays or changes in the service timeline, and obtaining approval for additional repairs, if needed.
- Technical Consultation: Providing basic technical information to customers about their vehicle's condition, explaining repairs in non-technical terms, and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Upselling: Suggesting additional services or maintenance that may be beneficial to the customer's vehicle and introduction of periodic promotion campaigns.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate service records, customer information, and other relevant data in the service database.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum GCE āNā level or Nitec in Automotive Trade
- Preferably 1 year of experience as Service Advisor in automotive industry
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Team player with initiative and a positive attitude towards learning
- Possess a pleasing personality and be able to attend to customers courteously
