Job Overview:
The Popeyes GM, South Division is the owner of the franchise relationships with South Division markets: India, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam and Singapore and is accountable to implement business development initiatives that will drive sales, profitability improvement and high efficiency operational standards, reporting to the Popeyes GM for the APAC region.
The position directs the development of strategic and tactical relationships with current franchisee groups and helps to expand or manage the franchisee relationships. The GM is the primary relationship contact with franchisees, ensuring they operate according to standards and deliver excellent service and product to our guests, find solutions for existing franchisees to expand or develop the brand, support new country entry deals and new country entry execution.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for expanding or managing the franchisee relationship
- Optimizing franchise business performance that drives long term growth, and franchise business value
- Responsible for analyzing potential growth strategies to ensure the development of a strong development pipeline
- Responsible for finding solutions for existing franchisees to expand or develop the brand
- Responsible for developing strategic plans and proposals for business expansion activities
- Supporting delivery of world class operations and excellence at the Franchisees
- Supporting operations with relevant tools and tactics to increase sales, improve profitability and maintain high operational standards
- Works with internal partners (marketing, finance and operations) to implement business initiatives that drive business growth
Required Skills:
We are looking for fluent English speaking candidates with strong analytical skills, candidates that know how to manage a P&L and are used to work under strict deadlines.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or Engineering
- MBA or Executive MBA is a plus
- Experience in Business Intelligence/Marketing/Finance/Strategy Consulting or Investment Banking (+7 years)
- Outstanding analytical skills and able to work under pressure
- Strong negotiation skills with proven track record of successful deals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Skilled in interacting effectively under difficult circumstances and tight deadlines
- Ability to provide coaching, advice, and assistance as required, helping subordinates overcome obstacles and deal with problems; ability to effectively work with the C-suite and line management
