Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough testing of each software component against business conditions and expected outcomes.
- Perform regression tests, functional tests, and data tests to validate software functionality.
- Set up test environments, track defects, and collaborate with Product Owners, users, and technical teams to prioritize and resolve issues effectively.
- Estimate work requirements to contribute to project sprint planning, and monitor and report User Acceptance Testing (UAT) deliverables.
- Stay updated with the latest QA and testing best practices, tools (HP Quality Centre, ALM), frameworks, and industry standards.
- Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure a successful software release.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Ability to create detailed and effective test plans, cases, and scripts.
- Experience with regression testing, functional testing, and data testing.
- Proficiency in test environment setup and defect tracking.
- Excellent coordination skills to collaborate with Product Owners, users, and technical teams.
- Sound judgment to determine defect priority and resolution.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint planning.
- Knowledge of QA and testing frameworks and standards.
- Experience with tools like HP Quality Centre and ALM would be good to have.
