Responsibilities:
- To supervise a team of supervisors and workers in preparation of commissioning of shipboard equipments
- Delegate tasks and work accordingly to meet project schedule
- Ensure completion of work is on schedule and in accordance to the protocols
- Ensure quality of work is up to Contractual and Classification requirements
- Ensure OEMs meet Contractual Obligations
- Initiate, coordinate and manage commissioning activities with both internal and external parties
- Ensure compliance to all Safety policies and regulation
- Prepare and maintain commissioning records - observations, testing processes and checklist
- Ensures the preparation of safe procedures and guidelines for systematic commissioning and start up of equipment
Requirements:
- Diploma or NTC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Possess 3 years’ experience in Shipboard Commissioning or Marine Offshore industry
- Knowledge of class requirements & Quality Standard requirements
- General knowledge of electrical and Control systems
- Able to read and express Marine Systems/Electrical & Automation Equipments related technical drawings, schematic and manual and instruction for execution and compliances
- Knowledge and skills in Marine Systems/Electrical & Automation equipment’s operation requirements
- Able to organize and communicate to achieve efficient Marine System / Auto Electrical System commissioning
- Possess man-management experience to manage up to 50 men, including subcontractors
