Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the security of the dormitory premises, including regular patrols and monitoring CCTV systems.
- Enforce dormitory rules and regulations to ensure a safe and harmonious living environment.
- Monitor access points and verify the identities of visitors, residents, and staff.
- Security checks are conducted at entry and exit points to prevent unauthorized access.
- Respond promptly to any security-related incidents, emergencies, or alarms.
- Assist in crowd control during events or peak hours within the dormitory.
- Keep accurate logs of incidents and daily activities for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
- Liaise with emergency services (police, fire department, etc.) as necessary in the event of an incident.
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid Security Officer License approved by the Singapore Police Force (PLRD).
- Completion of mandatory security courses (e.g., WSQ Certificate in Security).
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a security role, preferably within a dormitory or residential setting.
- Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with residents from diverse backgrounds.
- Physically fit to conduct routine patrols and respond to emergencies.
- Basic first aid knowledge and emergency response skills are an added advantage.
