Roles & Responsibilities
• Helping the larger financial staff and accountants.
• Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
• Generate and process invoices for clients and vendors.
• Track and manage petty cash transactions.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
• Assisting the finance team in their day-to-day responsibilities which ranges from accounting entries, reconciliations, intercompany settlements.
• Assist with raising billing in system
• Assist with account payable and receivable’s function
• Assist with journal in month end closing
• Perform bank reconciliation, GST knowledge to ensure compliance
• Prepare monthly accounting schedules.
• Liaise with vendors for SOA and reconciliation of vendors' statements
• Collaborate with the finance team to accomplish department goals and objectives.
• Hybrid role in supporting office and administrative functions within the organization
• Other ad-hoc tasks and projects
Requirements:
• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
• Previous experience in Accounts in shipping industry would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with accounting software and MS Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Other Information
• Basic salary at S$3,000 - S$3,200 per month
• · Work independently with minimum supervision and a dedicated team player
• · Singaporeans & PR Only.
