Responsibilities:
Participate in RFQs/Tenders:
- Analyse tender documents to understand scope and requirements.
- Generate and evaluate cost estimates for warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
- Collaborate with operations to assess feasibility and fulfilment capabilities.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive tender documents and quotations.
Project Implementation/Management:
- Define project objectives and align them with key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely execution of customer requirements.
- Oversee onboarding and ensure compliance with customer expectations during the hypercare period.
- Conduct regular project reviews and optimise operations to close any gaps.
Managing Existing Key Accounts:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts and stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all customer issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for customer accounts.
- Conduct formal reviews with customers to discuss performance and negotiate rates.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Sales, or a related field.
- Proven experience in key account management within the logistics or supply chain industry.
- Strong understanding of warehousing, transportation, and distribution processes.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
