Responsibilities:
• Actively participate in the outboard remanufactured program, engines overhaul to factory specifications including Dyno tests
• Investigate engine failures in the field with customers and resolve product issues
• Provide support in installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair to customers, dealers
• Maintain workshop assets and ensure special tools and personal toolbox are well maintained
Secondary responsibilities:
• Provide updated information on product features and service procedure to the dealers/customers
• Adhere and implement service administration program/procedures
• Ensure warranty claims guidelines are met and ensure warranty works are done in a timely manner
Requirements:
• Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering with experience in 2 or 4 Stroke – Diesel marine or automotive engines. Candidates with relevant ITE qualifications will also be considered for this position
• Hands-on knowledge in engine servicing and repair will have advantage
• Diagnostic skills using computers
• Good spoken and written communication skills
• Proficient Microsoft Office Computer skills
• Ability to respond to customer complaints and maintain composure
• Independent, resourceful, and able to coordinate multiple and/or completing work tasks
