About the role

Ops COO – NRU unit is the nostro reconciliation hub for DBS group. The unit has two functions: Nostro account reconciliation & the Business Management Support (BMS) that manages static data, feeds processes and production of daily MIS.
This role utilises the departments subject matter expertise to help balance stakeholders’ needs against the delivery of our initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-depth users’ requirements gathering, evaluation and defining solutions
  • Creation of clear business requirement documentations through user stories and data driven information.
  • Perform Data Analytics and preparation of presentations for senior management
  • Maintaining project timeframes, objectives, and communications with stakeholders.
  • Organise and participate in cadence calls and meetings with stakeholders
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing, Regression Testing, Simulation Testing and Live verifications to ensure system deliveries meet requirements objectives
  • Implementation support including leading training sessions and creation of training materials.
  • Respond promptly to issues raised, through good understanding of business, operational and technical considerations, and recommend sound solutions.

Requirements

  • Degree in Banking, Engineering, Computer Science or any other related quantitative discipline
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as part of projects performing business analysis.
  • Possess good business & technical subject matter knowledge related to banking operations.
  • Flair for gathering, examining, structuring and compiling user stories and data presentations.
  • Ability to build strong rapport with stakeholders and excellent communication skills to convey insights, suggestions, and statuses.
  • Knowledge of Remittance, Treasury & Markets settlement, Nostro reconciliation processes would be greatly beneficial
