- To assist Vendor Manager in timely planning, preparation, execution and management of tenders to support operation and project needs in both OPEX and CAPEX (involving builders and MEP works).
- To assist in managing project procurement process, ensuring that all stages including pre-qualification, enquiry, analysis (Price Comparison), selection, management approval paper and contract preparation are performed effectively
- To assist in preparation of tender documentation and administration.
- Perform cost benchmarking, life cycle costing and/or total cost of ownership computation.
- Responsible for contract documentation and administration (including to obtain Performance Bonds, Bankers Guarantees and any other forms of insurances).
- To assist in proper management of post-contract cost variances and change control processes
- To assist in liaising with the service users to resolve any commercial, change orders, cost variation and contract issues
- To assist Vendor Manager in the end-to-end procurement process
Skills for Success
- Nitec/Diploma holder
- Tender document preparation and execution
- Request for Quotation and quotation analysis
- Technical knowledge and experience in procurement or Quantity Surveying duties
- Contracting and contract management
- Cost Management
- Proficiency in MS Office tools
- Able to work independently, proactively and is self-motivated
