Job Responsibilities
Drive profitable business growth
- Define and sustainably drive respective export markets business and route to market strategy through collaborative partnerships with distributors.
- Drive a data-based approach to derive market insights and translate into business plans (i.e. Consumer, Channel, customer plans) to fulfil business objectives.
- Partner with distributors to generate awareness and trial initiatives for JDE brands.
- Research, identify and execute potential business opportunities in existing and new markets.
Distributor and Stakeholder Management
- Select distributors, negotiate contracts, and manage distributor relations.
- Negotiate and contract with distributors, considering trade allowances and contractual conditions.
- Participate in channel and account planning activities. Define sales and go to market plan with distributors.
- Partner stakeholders to plan and organize resources (i.e. shipping and dispatch schedules, marketing activations etc).
Pricing and Sales Management
- Optimize the positioning of global and local brands in export countries, aligning with growth and cost targets.
- Formulate general pricing, promotional pricing, and trade margins to achieve targets within agreed pricing bandwidths.
Job Requirements
- University education with a degree, preferably in a business related subject e.g. Business Administration; Business Studies, Economics
- Minimum 5 – 8 years of international commercial business experience
- Proven track record on defining and implementing the sales strategy in the best way in different countries
- Proven track record on driving efficient specific different distributors (sustainable & profitable business growth)
- Solid experience in FMCG products
- Very open and a good understanding of managing different countries/ shows a full focus on the business profiles
- Proven track record in leading and motivating sales teams
- Sound financial understanding and a record of managing a P&L.
