Job summary:
A Procurement Analyst focuses on forecasting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to an organization's procurement activities. They provide insights, recommendations, and reports to support informed decision-making and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement function.
Key responsibilities:
1. Demand Forecasting:
- Analyze customer purchasing patterns based on past 6 months data from sales team and e-commerce platform.
- Predict and align goods supply with demand to mitigate both understock and overstock issues.
- Strategically plan resource allocation based on demand forecasts.
2. Data Analysis and Management:
- Expertly analyze quantitative data to derive valuable insights.
- Break down complex issues into manageable components for logical problem-solving.
3. Vendor Management:
- Procure goods from established local and international vendors.
- Ensure timely delivery by closely monitoring and coordinating with suppliers.
4. Inventory and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive records, pricing lists, and purchasing reports.
- Utilize Excel tools such as Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP for efficient inventory management.
5. Coordination and Communication:
- Facilitate seamless communication with internal departments, suppliers, and logistics partners.
- Manage end-to-end ordering processes, ensuring smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Min. Diploma/Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, data analysis, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Pivot Tables, and VLOOKUP).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to work with large datasets.
