Responsibilities
- Work with Design Coordinators in Singapore in order to meet KPIs
- Build accurate BIM models for projects of the Company
- Create and Develop BIM library for facade elements
- Prepare BIM Model for Clash-Detection
- Ensure integration between REVIT®, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Sketch-up and other applications necessary
- Adhere to BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria
- Prepare technical shop drawings for facade works (Plan, Elevation, Section and Details)
- Adhere to shop drawing submission schedule
- Prepare and export documentation (e.g. cutting list) from BIM models
- Participate in design processes and ensure the drawings and design are completed on time and adhere to local building regulations for the country the project is in (Singapore/Philippines/Sri Lanka/Myanmar)
- Conduct review on the design schemes including design calculations and shop drawing submissions proposed by consultants and subcontractors, so that optimized design and project cost savings would be achieved
- Comply with relevant design code(s) and authorities' requirements in Singapore
- Check through shop drawings and ensure drawings are according to the design calculation
Requirements
- Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering/Architectural
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Façade Design/Engineering, Curtain Wall & Aluminium Cladding
- Strong understanding of architectural and construction principles.
- Good sketching skills and an ability to communicate thoughts and technical ideas concisely
- Familiar with Singapore and International Standard design Code and authorities’ requirements
- Good communication skills essential for team-based working
- Highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges
- Good time management habits and ability to multi-task
- Core interest in the façade industry with emphasis on detailing and engineering
- Proficient in MS Office suite, BIM, AutoCAD and Staadpro
