Retail Sales Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Sales Manager to oversee daily shop operations across our chain of fashion retail outlets. This role involves leading a team, managing sales and customer service, overseeing staffing and training, and ensuring efficient inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate commitment, professionalism, and the ability to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a retail sales team.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and drive team development.
  • Initiate and implement strategic business plans to achieve sales goals and operational objectives.
  • Implement effective coaching techniques and training programs to enhance shop-level performance.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, including managing client feedback and resolving operational issues.
  • Organize and execute sales and distribution activities to drive sales growth.
  • Oversee stock control, assortment planning, and product pricing to optimize inventory levels and profitability.
  • Prepare and review annual plans, sales forecasts, resource management, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Merchandising departments to align strategies and initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain high customer service standards.
  • Continuously enhance operational processes in both shops and backroom operations.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment and employment policies.
  • Establish and maintain clear communication on policies and procedures.
  • Oversee new store renovation projects, ensuring they align with brand standards and operational needs.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share and achieve growth objectives.
  • Conduct industry market research and implement competitive strategies.
  • Any other ad hoc duties assigned by Manager/Director

Requirement:

  • Min. Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate in Business, Marketing or equivalent.
  • Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years or more of relevant experience in the retail operations.
  • Candidates should have good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Possess initiative and drive with good interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership skills, able to provide a clear and strategic direction to team
  • Proven track record in sales and marketing
  • Able to work in retail hours.
  • Flexibility to travel overseas.
