On behalf of our well-established Japanese multinational corporation client. We are seeking an experienced Data Center Engineer to oversee the day-to-day operations of our data center facilities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data center maintenance, troubleshooting, and vendor management, with a proven ability to lead teams and ensure smooth, efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee data center facility operations, including vendor coordination and equipment performance monitoring.
- Lead troubleshooting and recovery efforts during system or service failures.
- Develop and implement mid-to-long-term facility improvement plans.
- Conduct site tours and support customer-related inquiries.
- Establish and maintain standard operating, maintenance, and emergency procedures.
- Train and mentor Network Operations Center (NOC) staff for first-level troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data center operations and facility management.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems (generators, UPS, HVAC, etc.).
- Strong leadership skills with at least 3 years of team management experience.
- Proven experience in risk management, disaster recovery, and compliance.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
