We are currently looking for an Associate Director of Medical Affairs to join a well-known Medical Device company.
You will be responsible for engaging with Cardiologists across the region as they look to grow the presence of their implantable Medical Device.
You will be joining this portfolio at an early stage for Asia, but they have strong growth plans for the business and this role with a roadmap for this to develop into a director role with people management responsibilities for a regional team.
The Associate Director of Medical Affairs will be responsible for:
- Manage and support academic partnerships between the company and key institutions, serving as a liaison for educational and clinical programs across Asia.
- Represent the company at national and international conferences, providing guidance on scientific content, and driving APAC KOL community engagement.
- Support internal and external education initiatives, coaching clinical teams, overseeing speaker quality, and assisting with research grants and challenging clinical cases.
The Associate Director of Medical Affairs will be / have:
- Degree qualified; postgraduate training in Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, or Intensive Care Medicine is a plus.
- Prior educational roles in academic settings or Medical Affairs within medical devices or biotech industries (both in-field and office-based) is essential.
- Strong network of cardiologists.
- Strong communicator with the ability to present scientific content to varied audiences, proficient in English, and knowledgeable in clinical research, medical device development, and national guidelines.
- Willingness to travel up to 70%, both domestically and internationally.
