Job Purpose
This role involves leading and managing HealthServe’s casework and social services team. Responsibilities include supervising staff, overseeing budget administration, developing department policies and procedures, and engaging in strategic planning to ensure alignment with HealthServe’s mission and vision. The position reports to the Chief Operating Officer and plays a key role in the administration, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the team’s activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide effective and appropriate casework and social services to the migrant workers’ community
- Oversee daily operations and administration of the department
- Supervise and coach a team of case worker and social workers
- Improve staff competency through training and capacity through manpower planning
- Identify emerging needs of the migrant workers’ community and deploy appropriate intervention plans
- Manage operational risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Partner and coordinate with stakeholders from public, private, and social services sector to advance and implement casework and social services programs.
- Provide timely reports and update internal and external stakeholders on the progress of ongoing programs.

Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of managerial experience in social work
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work
- Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the Singapore Association of Social Workers
- Passion in caring for the migrant workers’ community
- Ability in handling challenging situations and achieve a ‘win-win’ outcome for key stakeholders
