Seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist!
Are you a skilled scientist with expertise in molecular genetics and spatial genomics experiments? We are looking for someone to join our laboratory and contribute to our cutting-edge clinical and research projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct spatial genomics experiments and/or clinical genetic tests using state-of-the-art techniques and equipment.
• Collaborate with the research team to design and execute experiments.
• Keep detailed records of experiments and results.
• Receive, examine and perform laboratory testing on clinical specimens and report the results within TAT in accordance with laboratory policies and standard operating procedures.
• Perform quality control, validation, and other activities to verify the performance of clinical assays and research experiments.
• Ensure sufficiency and diligently keep records of laboratory inventories, including usage, purchase, delivery, stock count and expiry.
• Ensure all lab instruments are maintained as per scheduled PPM dates and raise any instrument performance issues to the supervisor or senior laboratory team members.
• Attend to technical enquiries from other departments, PAH entities or customers regarding lab results, test limitations, etc.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in molecular genetics and spatial genomics.
• Any responsibilities/tasks assigned by immediate superior or management.
Qualifications:
• Degree in Molecular Genetics, Biochemical Genetics, Genomics, or any related field.
• Prior experience or interested in conducting spatial genomics experiments is preferred
• Proficiency in relevant laboratory techniques and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills.
