Job Responsibilities:
· Advice to the business on a broad range of laws including general corporate and commercial, employment, competition, intellectual property, privacy, litigation, anti-corruption, consumer protection.
· Draft, review, negotiate agreements such as Sales/Distribution Agreements, Procurement Agreements, Sponsorship Agreements, Consulting Agreements, License Agreements, etc.
· Management of legal and compliance process systems.
· Manage legal disputes and litigation including management of external counsel.
· Provide legal advice to RHQ and HQ in relation to various legal issues.
· Management of the Company’s compliance program.
· If required, to perform Data Protection Officer / Data Protection Manager functions.
Requirements:
· Law degree (LL.B. or JD).
· Admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore or a common law jurisdiction.
· At least 5 years of Post-Qualified Experience (PQE).
· Demonstrated experience in corporate/commercial law and contract negotiations.
· Developed understanding of corporate, commercial, employment, competition, intellectual property, privacy, litigation, anti-corruption, and consumer protection laws.
· Commercial awareness with the ability to provide clear, concise legal advice.
