Participate in full set, project costing and monitor project budgets inclusive of audit schedule
Provide guidance in areas relating to costing and inventory valuations and interact closely with operations
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly management accounts
Coordinate with the Controller and Director to prepare the annual budget and forecasts to ensure cost control and predetermined levels of profit and to enforce the budgets
Assist in fixed assets reconciliations, eg. corporate assets for capitalisation, fixed asset tagging exercise
Perform audits on a regular basis to verify transactions
Track all company assets and liabilities
Ensure compliance with group accounting policies and regulatory requirements
Manage cash flow and forecasting
Good knowledge of Tax standards and GST rules
Support project revenue and cost tracking, gross margin monitoring, ad-hoc project analysis
Requirements
Degree in Accountancy or CPA/ACCA equivalent
With minimum 3-5 years of project accounting function with Construction or Engineering firms.
