Kebabs Faktory is a leading Fast Food halal Kebabs brand focussing on Wraps | Rolls | Bowls. In less than 5 years we have grown to 9 outlets. We are now exploring to launch a virtual brand to promote our latest offering - German Doner Kebabs.
Job Summary:
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and executing strategic opportunities to expand the Kebabs Faktory brand in Singapore. You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing growth strategies, establishing partnerships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate has a strong business acumen, an out of box approach to entreprenurship, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in driving business expansion in the food and beverage industry. You would be offered a lucrative bonus plan that is linked to your product sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth and expand a virtual Brand under the Kebabs Faktory brand across Singapore, promoting via the existing 9 outlets + online.
- Create differentiating branding and packaging to ace the customer experience.
- ·Tie up with Corporate and Institutions to promote bulk orders, events, and caterings.
- Work closely with Outlet Managers and Central Kitchen to ensure quality, consistency in delivering the unique experience that would differenciate you from other brands offering similar products.
- Lead negotiations and contract discussions with potential partners, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for all parties involved.
- Outsource marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns and promotional activities to increase brand awareness and drive customer engagement.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences to identify potential risks and opportunities for growth.
- Provide guidance, training and support to outets, ensuring adherence to brand standards and operational excellence.
- Motivate the Outlet teams to higher sales and margins.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, providing updates on business development initiatives, market performance, and growth projections.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to proactively identify emerging opportunities and potential challenges.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the food and beverage industry or FMCG.
- Proven track record in successfully expanding businesses and establishing partnerships
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a demonstrated ability to identify and seize business opportunities.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to travel frequently across the island visiting varioys outlets.
- Knowledge of the Singapore food and beverage market is highly desirable.
