The Role

Recruiters at Faststream operate their desk like independent business owners, seeking quality opportunities while developing as Maritime Specialists. You will build relationships with clients & candidates, source top talent, place hard-to-find candidates, and match them with the best career opportunities. It is a fast-paced, proactive role but rewarding when the placements & commissions starts rolling in!

The Faststream Recruitment Group was established in 1999, employs over 100 people and is a global people specialist in Shipping recruitment, Maritime recruitment, and Energy recruitment.

Faststream Singapore is in an exciting growth phase and ready to take the business to the next level.

We are looking for ambitious Graduates and Sales/Business Development professionals who can demonstrate the following winning attitudes & behaviours.

Tenacious & Resilient - The best recruiters have a fearless instinct for seeking out opportunities, handling rejections, thinking on their feet, solving problems, making quick and effective decisions, and possessing the resilience and confidence to keep going.

A Great Communicator - We work with high-end clients, so you need to have a professional, consultative manner and be able to communicate effectively with everyone from HR to the executive C-suite.

A Natural Business Developer - While we have many existing clients, this is a growth-focused business, so you will need the personality to open doors to new clients and candidates, getting them to buy into working with you and Faststream. You must excel at building rapport, networking, influencing decisions, solving problems, and negotiating effectively to win and close business.

What salary, benefits and rewards are on offer?

You can expect a basic monthly salary of between SGD3000 - SGD4000 (depending on experience), plus an uncapped scheme, 23 days annual leave + public holidays, medical cover, wellness allowance, performance-based incentives/rewards, regional travel, training & support to progress your career
