At Vanir Global Markets, our Middle Office team plays a crucial role in maintaining smooth and efficient processes following Front Office activities. The team ensures the accurate entry of trades and the timely delivery of market data to our clients, enabling seamless business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely within middle office to ensure smooth operations and improve market efficiency
- Assist in preparing and distributing daily reports.
- Help with post-trade processes, including accurate trade entries and timely delivery of trade confirmations.
- Keep detailed records of trade transactions in our database systems, ensuring adherence to compliance and operational standards.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Diploma and above in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of Excel with proficiency in basic functions.
- Demonstrated ability for attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to remain focused under pressure to ensure accurate and timely execution of trades during market hours as these tasks are highly time sensitive.
- Demonstrated ability for effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Singaporean Citizenship or Permanent Resident status in Singapore.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in Middle Office operations at a brokerage is beneficial.
- Familiarity with VBA is advantageous.
- Understanding of fundamental financial instruments such as spot markets and futures.
- Knowledge on the Japanese Power Market.
