Position Overview:
- Assist the Executive Pastry Chef and Pastry Chef in daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare ingredients and dishes as required.
- Provide guidance to staff in performing their duties when necessary.
- Oversee the receiving, checking, and monitoring of inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and cleanliness standards.
Skills & Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of kitchen experience.
- Strong knowledge of ingredients.
- Proficient in food handling, preparation, and cooking techniques for specific stations.
- Ability to consistently deliver high-quality dishes with proper presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in workspaces, including chillers and freezers.
- Thorough understanding of food hygiene regulations and adherence to company standards.
- A Diploma in Pastry & Bakery is advantageous.
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a creative mindset.
