Job Overview
The RARE Portfolio Manager works within the RARE SG division with a commercial scope and reports to the General Manager whilst closely collaborate with the RARE marketing and corporate sales team.
The RARE Portfolio manager seeks to enhance our current and potential private client relationships and drive sales within our RARE portfolio range of products. He/she will seek to retain, rejuvenate existing clients while working on development plans for new client acquisitions to sustain the long term sales goals of the RARE division.

Key Responsibilities & Activites
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals and private clients. Understanding clients’ preferences and needs to provide personalized recommendations and service
- As a custodian to our range of brands/products and conducts presentations and sales pitch to potential clients (core range as well as high value limited editions)
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the private client segment through internal marketing initiatives or externally with luxury partnerships
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share
- Educate clients on our portfolio of luxury spirits, including tasting notes, production processes and brand stories. Be the bridge of knowledge between client and home brand
- Organize and host exclusive tastings, private events and exceling in brand experiences for clients
- Collaborate with marketing and event teams to create memorable experiences that enhances brand loyalty
- Monitor sales performance and client feedback to identify areas for improvement
- Upkeep of regular sales reports, clients buy in and trends analysis.
- Gatekeeper to our current CRM client data
- Performing post sales customer service order processing
Key Relationships
Internal: General Manager, Marketing Team (Singapore and RARE division), Customer Service, Finance, Logistics, Brand ambassador, Regional Brand Manager
External: Private Client, partners/vendors and sponsors
Pre requisites
- Minimum 6-8 years sales/account experience preferably in the luxury goods or spirits industry
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing high value accounts
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to conduct product/brand presentations
- WSET levels a plus
