Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual keen to work collaboratively and iteratively within an established acoustics team. The successful candidate would also work across wider multi-disciplinary design teams and be expected to establish strong working relationships with other internal teams.
The individual would have excellent report writing, personal organisation and communication skills.
They would be taught acoustics calculations and modelling using software such as SoundPLAN, CATT, Insul, Odeon, and MOTIV.
They would also be trained to undertake a range of site measurements and testing, data analysis, predictions and write reports on a range of projects. Experience of displaying and manipulating datasets in GIS software would also be beneficial.
Hence no experience is required.
Requirements:
- A degree in Physics, Maths or Engineering, Acoustics, Architecture or similar.
- Understanding acoustics, noise and vibration is an advantage but not essential.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Demonstrated practical experience in instrumentation and acoustic modelling software is highly regarded.
- Experience in Google Sketchup, GIS, AutoCAD, Revit or Microstation software is advantageous
