Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedule, work hours, budgets and expenditures for the overall effective execution of the projects.
- Organizing attending and participating in stakeholder meetings.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensuring project deadlines are met.
- Prepare and submit progress reports.
- Assess project risks, issues and provide solutions where applicable.
- Assist to review Contractor's submitted Technical Drawings (i.e. SLD, Shop Drawing, etc) and highlight accordingly if there is any discrepancies found.
- Coordinate and liaise well with appointed contractors, vendors and internal stakeholders on project works and to ensure works are satisfactorily completed.
- Conduct regular inspections on the project works to ensure the quantity of works are maintained at a high standard and in accordance with good market practice
- Conduct regular safety checks on all the workers that are on site using approved checklists.
- To report any unsafe working conditions / procedures and follow up with contractors to ensure compliance.
- To attend regular safety committee meeting and shared with respective Contractor's Safety Team on the latest requirements.
- Prepare the RFT / REP for all improvement projects / works which includes the technical specifications, design criteria.
- Assist in the calling of quotations / tenders for all improvement works in the campus.
- Assist in the scheduling and managing of respective appointed contractors carrying out the works in the same location.
- Assist in identification of defects at the point of project handover (completed) and follow up on the completion of the outstanding rectification works.
- Ensure all As-Built drawings and licenses, O&M, warranties, and any other related documents are handed over properly.
- Raising PR and closing PO on Tenderboard system.
- Providing administrative support and project tasks as needed.
- Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions made from meetings.
Requirements:
- At least a Diploma in Facility Management / Electrical / Mechanical / Construction Management or equivalent.
- Candidates with relevant work experience of 5 years but without Diploma
- Able to work shifts and weekends
- Good interpersonal skills and familiarity with MS Office.
- High level of initiative and independence
- Able to multitask and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to accept responsibility and work effectively both independently and within a team.
Monthly Remuneration: Up to SGD 5,800
