Bar Operations:
- Oversee all aspects of the bar operation, including inventory control, cash handling, and staff scheduling.
- Develop and implement creative and profitable drink menus.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked bar environment.
- Train and mentor bartenders on proper drink preparation, service techniques, and responsible alcohol service.
- Ensure efficient and friendly service to all bar patrons.
- Management:
- Assist the General Manager with daily operations, including scheduling, payroll, and guest relations.
- Maintain a positive and professional work environment for all staff.
- Address guest concerns and ensure their satisfaction.
- Participate in inventory management and cost control measures.
- Assist with hiring, training, and development of all bistro staff.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a bartending and/or leadership role within the restaurant industry.
- Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, liquor laws, and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Proven leadership abilities with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and motivating staff.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficient in basic cash handling and point-of-sale systems.
- Availability to work various shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
