JOB DESCRIPTION
The Executive / Senior Executive provides casework support to low-income families and individuals in improving their resources and ability to cope with their challenges. He/She manages the play-based learning programme, which facilitates the learning of the pre-schoolers through play, and work closely with volunteers who contribute in it. He/She also works with stakeholders, such as volunteers, partners and vendors, in programme planning, implementation and evaluation.
Key Job Duties
a) Case Management
· Assesses and recommends appropriate financial assistance and other forms of support to families and individuals.
· Support and monitors families’ progress in improving their resources and ability to cope with their challenges
b) Play-based Learning Programme
· Manages the operation of the programme
· Manage volunteers to develop and empower them to contribute to the programme
· Organise activities to develop the students and strengthen family bonds
REQUIREMENTS
· Minimum Degree, preferably in Social Sciences
· Has passion to work with low-income families, pre-schoolers and volunteers.
· Good interpersonal and communication skills, with a service-oriented attitude
· Strong organising skills with the ability to work in teams and independently
· Ability to converse in English, Mandarin and preferably a dialect
· Willing to work on Saturday
· Caring, responsible and resilient
· Proactive in learning
