Job Type: Full-time, Contract
Contract Period: 1 January 2025 – 31 December 2025 (with an option to extend for an additional 12 months)
Working Hours:
- Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 4:00pm (inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break)
- Fridays: 7:00am to 3:30pm (inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break)
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.
Objective:
The Administrative Assistant will provide support to the administrative functions of the school. The role involves handling daily operations, providing front desk services, and assisting with administrative, finance, and operational management tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Duties:Handle telephone calls and inquiries from parents, students, and staff.
Manage reception and other front desk services.
- Administrative Support:Perform general administrative duties such as documentation, data entry, and managing correspondences.
Assist with financial and operational management tasks.
Provide support in matters related to school administration.
- Student Support:Attend to unwell or injured students and administer first aid when needed.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Education:GCE O Level or equivalent qualification.
- Experience:Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in school administration.
Familiar with at least two school/MOE-based computer or online systems.
- Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to multi-task effectively and take the initiative when required.
A good team player with a high level of organizational skills.
Certification:
- Certified First Aider and AED CPR certified.
