Role & Responsibilities of a Drafter
- Prepare and create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using software such as AutoCAD for building construction.
- Translate sketches, specifications, and other design data into accurate CAD drawings.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers and design team to understand project requirements and to ensure all drawings are in order as per design requirements.
- Ensure drawings are in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Make necessary revisions and modifications to drawings as required.
- Maintain and update drawing files and documentation.
- Any other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Architectural / Civil Engineering or equivalent
- 2-3 years of related work experience in similar capacity for construction and architecture projects
- Proficient in MS Office, Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD software
- To state proficiency in any other CAD and rendering software (e.g. photoshop, illustrator etc)
