This role will be working closely with Project Management, R&D, Production, Sales and Product Management on system design and requirements. Testing system to establish functionality and effectiveness. The incumbent will also perform and assist at system training, evaluations, configurations and installations with customers.
Responsibilities:
- Review and participate in the design of the system based on customer requirements;•
- Perform system configuration based on customer requirements
- Configure and test the system before delivery
- Analyze and understand customer requirements and propose
- Perform on-site and off-site system software configuration
- Perform local and on-site trainings with customers
- Identify and report issues and eventual improvements
- Provide remote support to customer for installed systems
- Follow up on customer technical feedback
- Perform on-site activities and generate field reports
- Travel for project milestones and system trainings
Requirements:
- Min. Diploma in Computer Science or its equivalent
- Experienced in project management on System Design and Network.
- Knowledge in computer communications, LAN/WAN, core protocols (TCP/IP, Layer 2&3, network protocols)
- Good knowledge in Linux OS (installation, configuration, processes)
- Experience with server solutions (bare bone and clusters)
- Experience in debugging Linux software issues based on logs
- Basic scripting experience (bash, perl)
- Basic experience with databases (Postgresql or MySQL)
- Good Cisco configuration/debugging knowledge
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and provide solutions
- A team player with strong customer service skills, results and deadline oriented
- Ability to work under pressure and to work on multiple projects in parallel thread
- Comfortable with overseas travelling when required
- Previous experience in telephony system (analog and VOIP), networking, customer support or system integration/field engineer is an advantage
- Cisco Certification is a plus
- Knowledge of ED-137 and ED-138 standards is a plus
- Basic knowledge of radio systems and/or Air Traffic Management is a plus
