URGENT for M&E RTO
Project Location: NTU Campus (West Region)
Job Description:
- Assist the Resident Engineer and Job Manager to attend to technical and design issues at site and report issues to Job Manager
- Provide standing supervision as and when directed by the Resident Engineer and/or Consultant team.
- Check through construction drawings and highlight any discrepancies found between or within the same disciplines prior to the commencement of installation works.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance to approve drawings and specifications.
- Ensure adequate safety precautions are enforced on site.
- Resolve all site issues and ensure timely completion of the project.
- Attend site meetings, site inspections, testing and commissioning.
- Maintain site records.
- Preferably to commence November 2024
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution.
- A registered Resident Technical Officer with IES / ACES is require.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Resident Technical Officer on local projects.
- Experience in supervision of Electrical Services installation for local Healthcare/Institution/ Commercial Developments/Multi-tenanted Industrial Development would be added advantage
- Experience in Lift and Escalators experiences will be added advantage
- Familiar with local codes and regulations
- Ability to respond to technical questions
- Well-versed with computer software (Microsoft Office, etc)
