Our client within the FMCG industry, is looking for experienced and passionate HR talents to join their growing business as HR Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Learning & Development and Talent Management
- Implement L&D initiatives focused on leadership, management, communication, and teamwork.
- Collaborate with leaders to conduct annual training needs assessments.
- Coordinate and manage the delivery of training programs.
- Assess team-specific needs and challenges regarding skills and resources.
- Identify and develop high performers for career progression.
- Recognize skill gaps and provide appropriate training or development solutions.
- Work with leaders to create development plans for employees.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of team structures to provide support and advice during times of organizational change.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Employ effective recruitment and selection strategies.
- Develop innovative methods to identify potential candidate pools.
- Collaborate with managers to recruit or appoint suitable internal or external candidates.
- Maintain a clear process for recruitment and promotion.
- Handle all new employee records, and manage process from onboarding until confirmation.
- Ensure new hires receive appropriate induction programs coordinated by their managers.
Compensation & Benefits
- Stay updated on market remuneration trends through external resources, candidate interviews, employee surveys, and exit interviews.
- Ensure managers understand market remuneration and its relevance to their teams.
- Maintain a clear understanding of employee capabilities and role requirements to align with market remuneration.
- Handle salary reviews, promotions, and adjustments in employee records.
Employee Relations
- Foster a management culture that emphasizes accountability and performance.
- Ensure position descriptions and standard operating procedures are always up-to-date.
- Ensure managers complete annual performance appraisals for all employees.
- Manage employee feedback through formal and informal systems.
- Support managers in addressing and resolving productivity and team performance issues.
- Promptly communicate any serious grievances to appropriate management and ensure best practice handling following policy and procedures.
- Actively promote safe work practices and compliance with all designated policies.
- Ensure consistent and fair application of Code of Conduct policies and processes.
- Address formal disciplinary issues and terminations as necessary.
HR Operations
- Maintain comprehensive employee records, including any changes to employment agreements, documented salary reviews, promotions, and updated signed position descriptions.
- Keep personal file records of employee skills and training.
- Ensure ongoing legal compliance with relevant legislation, including right to work and visa validity.
- Monitor time and attendance records and address any concerns at the individual or team level.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of experience in full spectrum of Human Resources function
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR leadership role
- Proven experience in managing white collared and blue collared employees
- Familiarity with Singaporean employment laws and regulations
- Experience within food/fast moving consumer goods (FMCG)/beverage industry will be preferred
- High competence in stakeholder management

- Location: West
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours
- Salary: Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications.
