Job Descriptions
- Monitor and manage the credit limits for customers, reviewing and updating credit terms as necessary.
- Implement and maintain effective collection strategies to reduce overdue accounts and manage collection procedures.
- Perform regular reconciliation of customer accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare and present regular reports on aged debt, cash flow forecasts, and collection performance to senior management.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any billing or payment issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Handle and resolve customer disputes and queries related to invoices and payments.
- Ensure adherence to company credit policies and procedures and comply with legal requirements related to credit and collections.
- Work closely with the sales and finance teams to support overall business objectives and ensure smooth operations.
- Other duties as delegated from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge of credit control principles and practices, with a preference for 3 to 5 years of experience in credit control or a related financial role.
- Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Accountancy or equivalent
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy, complemented by strong communication skills that facilitate clear and effective interactions with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.
