Job Overview:
- We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in Corporate Credit Risk to drive new functionalities, workflows, and dashboards. The ideal candidate should also have project management experience to independently lead projects, technical expertise in application design, and proficiency in SQL for data analysis. Previous experience in the banking sector in Singapore is preferred.
Role Summary:
As a Senior Business Analyst and Data Analyst, you will:
- Support business and credit users by translating requirements into actionable deliverables and managing tasks from project initiation to post-implementation support.
- Enhance and support applications for Special Asset Management, T&M Credit & Credit Control, and SME Credit & Data Chapter.
- Analyze and improve internal credit systems, define and document requirements, recommend solutions, and ensure successful delivery through user acceptance testing and training.
- Collect, profile, clean, and analyze data to provide insights and support business opportunities using traditional or machine learning methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects and provide business support in Corporate Credit Risk.
- Develop and enhance enterprise applications, including monitoring and approval workflows.
- Work with technology teams to ensure requirements are met and delivered successfully.
- Perform data analysis, visualization, and provide actionable insights.
Requirements:
- Degree in Banking, Commerce, or Information Systems.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in business and data analysis, preferably in corporate credit risk and wholesale banking.
- Subject matter expertise in Corporate Credit Risk with a strong understanding of credit products and risk management.
- Proficient in SQL and data profiling.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, data analytics, and machine learning projects preferred.
- Previous experience as a Product Owner or Scrum Master is a plus.
- Excellent people management and communication skills.
